Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before using the Offline Expense Tracker mobile application ("App", "Service", "we", "our", or "us") operated by us.

            By downloading, installing, or using this App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, then you may not access or use the App.
        

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Offline Expense Tracker App, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.

2. Description of Service

The Offline Expense Tracker is a mobile application that allows you to:

Track your income and expenses
Organize transactions by categories
View financial summaries and reports
Export your data to CSV format
Backup and restore your data
Use home screen widgets for quick access
Secure your data with optional PIN lock and biometric authentication

The App is designed to work offline and stores all data locally on your device.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 Account and Data Security

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the security of your device and any PIN or biometric authentication you set up
Regularly backing up your data to prevent loss
Keeping your device and the App updated to the latest version
Not sharing your device or authentication credentials with unauthorized persons

4.2 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

Use the App in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
Use the App to store or process illegal or harmful content
Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices

5. Data and Privacy

All data entered into the App is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your personal financial data. However, please note:

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter
We are not responsible for any loss of data due to device failure, uninstallation, or other circumstances
You should regularly backup your data using the App's backup feature
If you enable Android backup, your data may be backed up to your Google account

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by us and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, install, and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use only.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We do not warrant that:

The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
The App will meet your specific requirements
Any errors in the App will be corrected
The App is free of viruses or other harmful components

We are not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on information provided by the App. The App is a tool to help you track expenses and should not be considered as financial, legal, or tax advice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

Loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses
Loss of data due to device failure, uninstallation, or backup failure
Any errors or inaccuracies in the App
Any financial losses resulting from use of the App

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any), or $0 if the App is provided free of charge.

9. Data Loss and Backup

Important: While we strive to provide a reliable service, we cannot guarantee that your data will never be lost. You are responsible for regularly backing up your data using the App's backup feature.

We are not liable for any loss of data, including but not limited to:

Data loss due to device failure, damage, or theft
Data loss due to uninstalling the App
Data loss due to operating system updates or changes
Data loss due to backup failures
Data corruption or errors

10. App Updates and Modifications

We reserve the right to:

Modify or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time
Release updates that may add, modify, or remove features
Require you to update to the latest version to continue using the App

We are not obligated to maintain or support any particular version of the App.

11. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

Google Firebase Analytics: For anonymous usage analytics
Google Firebase Crashlytics: For crash reporting and error tracking
Google Play Services: For app distribution and updates

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately. You may uninstall the App at any time, which will remove all locally stored data from your device.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use the App after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the App is operated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
